Gender:

Age at start of RP:
15
School:
Kadic Junior High School
Year:
10th Grade
Role:
Computer expert and unofficial leader of the Lyoko Warriors
Appearance
Jeremy is a blond-haired bespectacled boy with a fair complexion. He usually wears black framed glasses.
For the first three seasons, Jeremy wears a blue long-sleeved turtleneck top and similar-colored shoes, brown cropped trousers and no socks. In Season 4, he wears a similar turtleneck in maroon red, his longer (though still not full-length) trousers are moss green with blue stripes on the outer seams, and his shoes became navy blue with gray soles.
In this RP, he favors checked button-up shirts with the sleeves either short or rolled up to his forearm, with grey jeans and tan shoes. This is what he wears in Evolution and it makes sense this would be his fashion style at this age.
Abilities and Equipment
Jeremy has various tools that aid him in his differing exploits, the most notable of which is his laptop, which he carries with him all the time in case his Superscan program detects a X.A.N.A. attack. It is one of his primary technological ports, the other two being the computer in his dorm and the interface at the lab.

Jeremy's incredible intellect lends itself to his astonishing computing skills, which include developing codes and programs that have both helped and hindered the success of the Lyoko Warriors. His hacking skills are also stellar, as he is able to keep up with X.A.N.A. itself in terms of both stalling and defense. He is also able to take advantage of the supercomputer's hidden abilities, activating towers and launching programs to give himself and the team the winning edge (although it should be noted that every tower he has ever activated has been hacked by X.A.N.A. at one point or another).

In Season 4, Jeremy knows how to fully protect his towers from X.A.N.A.'s influence, since he has full knowledge of Lyoko thanks to the data sent by Franz Hopper used to recreate the virtual world. In Double Take, Jeremy activated a tower to create a clone of himself. Since X.A.N.A. couldn't influence the Tower directly, X.A.N.A. had to use William to attack and possess the Tower to control the clone, but the tower was deactivated by Aelita, and after a return to the past, Jeremy then had to reuse the tower to generate a clone of William to avoid suspicion about the real one's disappearance. In Wreck Room, X.A.N.A. took over the tower used to maintain the William clone, due to a bug which cropped up from one of his programs has messed up its security programs.

Jeremy is a skilled inventor. He is known for making good use of the tools around his present location, such as in Plagued, where he discovered the X.A.N.A.-possessed rats' weakness: light; by using a common flashlight. He is also known to have an interest in building robots, as seen in Swarming Attack, Killer Music, and The Robots. Most of them are composed of various high-tech devices. However, since most of the things Jeremy uses are immediately used and not tested, some of them inevitably fail.

(For example, his bee-distracting robot in Swarming Attack ran out of batteries, resulting in the near-death of Ulrich (who was saved by Yumi). His attempt to create a monster to keep X.A.N.A.'s monsters at bay, while Aelita deactivated towers in Marabounta, also had disastrous results: almost killing Aelita on Lyoko. Also, in Nobody in Particular, his program to virtualize people directly into Sector Five is used on Ulrich, separating his body and mind, allowing X.A.N.A. to take control of his body and use it to attack the Core of Lyoko. His materialization program for Aelita also had various attempts, most of which had failed, until Code: Earth.

Some of Jeremy's talents are, to say the least, not exactly legal to perform. He is skilled at faking phone calls with his voice synthesizer, which enabled him to keep both the school and William's parents from discovering William's absence for months. It is also confirmed in Cousins Once Removed that Jeremy has forged all of Aelita's health and ID documents to keep her existence off of any suspicious radars.

Jeremy uses a scooter to get to and from the Factory like Aelita, but is afraid of jumping over the obstacles because he is not as daring as his friends.
Personality
Jeremy is responsible, resourceful, and endlessly motivated. His dedication to his work is driven by his devotion to his friends and to protecting the world from X.A.N.A.'s threats, and he is willing to take great risks in order to further his goals. Jeremy's confidence is a key part of the team's framework, and his ability to reassure his friends has gotten them through some of their darkest hours.

However, being the stereotypical nerd, there are times where Jeremy's personality can create friction or alienation between his friends. His intelligence can cause him to be clueless to other people's viewpoints, and his ability to read emotions is lacking to say the least. He can be stubborn to no end, and this can cause him to snap at his friends or even neglect them completely. Jeremy is also dismissive of many of his friends' passions and hobbies, rarely bothering to get involved in their personal lives if it in any way gets in the way of his work on Lyoko or school.

Despite all this, Jeremy is still able to commit to having fun if the situation allows. He can trade jokes with the rest of the group easily, and in A Lack of Goodwill, he displays a surprisingly smuggish side as he goes to great lengths to answer all of Milly and Tamiya's questions about the supercomputer, knowing he would wipe their memories of the event moments later with a Return to the Past.

In Echoes, Jeremy confirms that he treasures his friendship with Odd, Ulrich, Yumi, and Aelita more than anything. He has always feared that their friendship would dissolve if their adventures were to ever come to an end; something Yumi assures him would never happen in real life.
